- Child pose – to open hips and relieve lower back tightness
- Downward dog – Upper body strengthener, increases circulationDownward
- Warrior II – long, lean, toned arms, legs, core
- Plank – upper body strength
- Fierce pose – strengthening quadriceps (provides stronger support around your knees, making them less prone to injury), improves posture
- Tree pose (my favourite!) – center yourself
- Garland pose – helps constipation and cramps
